From a typical running shoe to a boat shoe?!?! That must be the nicest, cleanest transition I've seen in the world of sneaker customization. Adidas worked with Miami's own ShoeGallery and Upset Gentlemen to create this great versatile shoe. I don't see anything wrong with this project... original design (miles away from the original Adidas ZX700), nice colors and, the most important... great materials. They look so clean, I'd be happy to wear them at the office...that would make me, without a doubt, the freshest pharmacist in Canada!!!

These will be up for grabs at the ShoeGallery shop in Miami Feb. 6th, 2010.

2010 Preview : KR3W Footware - Grant

KR3W Footware is presenting us the Grant in 3 colorways/materials to come in 2010 : brown leather (my favorite), black suede and grey canvas. This is a very nice sneaker that could be worn even at the office, with a shirt and tie.

Admiral WT & Sector-7 WT from DC shoes Life Collection - Holiday 2009

DC will release somewhere in December these new shoes from the Life Collection. Personnally, I intend to get a grab of the Sector-7 (the low one on the upper-right), since I've been looking for nice clean lightgreys to wear at work lately. Lots of details on the upper of the shoe.

New vibe from the L.A. area. The sound doesn't sound THAT new, but the look sure is!! Highschool kids with skinny jeans and flashy sneakers, dancin in the middle of the street in packs. The New Boyz are the most recognized kids from this movement at this moment.

Hemla from Y-3 Fall/Winter 2009

Honestly, when I look at fashion, or even when I create, I don't really get impressed by classic ideas with new colors. What gets my attention is new forms, new shapes, specific details. This shoe is filled with details, from the brown inserts in the sole, to the hidden eyelets on the first part of the upper of the shoe. THAT IS FASHION. Stop reinventing the Stan Smith with new colors/patterns (I know, it's a classic, I own a pair, but you can't reinvent it forever!!)
